We like a day that leaves room for another swim. A coffee on the way, a mask in the car, someone who knows a spot a little further up the coast. Getting home can wait.

And we’re probably going to ask what you saw. We want to hear about the ray, but also the tiny thing you couldn’t identify. The one you took twelve blurry photos of and looked up over lunch.
